What We Do

We build AI-powered tools that tackle the most time-consuming parts of legal work:

  • Document review. Models that read contracts, leases, and agreements — extracting key clauses, flagging risks, and comparing drafts against standard playbooks in minutes rather than hours.
  • Legal research. Search and summarisation tools that help solicitors navigate case law, legislation, and regulatory guidance without the risk of hallucinated citations.
  • Client intake. Intelligent triage systems that capture enquiry details, classify matters by practice area, and route them to the right team — around the clock.
  • Knowledge management. Tools that surface relevant precedents, internal know-how, and institutional expertise exactly when a fee earner needs it.

How We Think

We believe AI in law should be practical, transparent, and accountable. That means:

  1. Solicitors stay in the loop. Our tools assist — they don't replace professional judgment. Every AI output is designed to be reviewed, verified, and approved by a qualified human.
  2. Accuracy over speed. A fast wrong answer is worse than no answer at all. We'd rather flag uncertainty than fabricate confidence.
  3. Privacy by default. Client data is sensitive. Our systems are built with encryption, access controls, and data minimisation from day one — not bolted on as an afterthought.
  4. Open thinking. This blog is where we share what we're learning — the wins, the failures, and the honest tradeoffs of applying AI to legal work.

The Blog

This site covers two tracks:

  • AI. Practical writing about using artificial intelligence in legal practice — contract review, research workflows, client-facing automation, compliance, and the ethics of it all.
  • Engineering. Posts on software craft, code quality, and the developer workflows behind the tools we build. The best AI products are only as good as the engineering underneath them.
